Burgos Group provides storage and warehousing services for aviation and aviation-support customers, including a full range of physical distribution services that provide the warfighter with excellent support. These support services are performed at the Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida (NASJAX) and include: receiving, receipt processing, issuing, delivery, transportation, packaging/crating material, and storage/warehousing. Performance is in accordance with the standards and the directives demanded by the client. Burgos Group is the Prime contractor with one major subcontractor.
As part of the service, we provide physical distribution services for a broad range of Navy customers at NASJAX. This support consists of offloading and receiving inbound cargo; packaging, packing, repacking, and obtaining crating assistance from Defense Distribution Depot Jacksonville (DDJF); receiving, stocking/warehousing material in applicable warehouses; issuing material from stock; verifying material against documentation, processing material received, and processing receipt transactions in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) systems; loading outbound freight/cargo; delivering material and managing supply documentation between supply buildings and applicable consignees. Transportation services include preparing and processing transportation documentation with the Transportation Center of Excellence (COE) located in Norfolk, VA.
Our Project Manager has extensive naval aviation supply experience that includes Naval Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS). Our Project Manager is the single point of contact with the government and reports to our Director, Federal Programs. He has direct oversight over all key personnel such as the Lead Warehouse Specialist, Lead Supply Technicians, Hazardous Material Packers and the Traffic Supervisor.
