Burgos Group Presented The SAME Small Business Award For Outstanding Support

November 27, 2017 – The 2017 Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) National Small Business Conference, hosted in Pittsburgh, had over 2,500 participants in attendance. During the event, Burgos Group was presented the 2017 SAME Small Business Award for Outstanding Support to Federal Small Business Programs.

The SAME Small Business Awards is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of small businesses, individuals who work as advocates for furthering small business interests, and large businesses that work to strengthen and support small business.

SAME was founded in 1920 and currently has more than 30,000 members. The organization, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, leads collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges. SAME unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cyber security, project planning, contracting and acquisition, and related disciplines in support of national security.

We are proud of the small part the entire Burgos Group team plays each and every day in supporting the sustainment, renovation, and modernization of our nation’s military through our many projects for Department of Defense and other public-sector customers. Receiving this award was a tremendous honor.
