The Burgos Group Team provided personnel to perform on-site Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support in Traffic/Motorcycle Safety, Marketing Communications, Outreach and Information Technology. This effort required Burgos Group to assist the Air Force Safety Center (AFSEC) at Kirtland AFB in maintaining mishap reduction initiatives with the goal of facilitating a change in unsafe behaviors resulting in a negative impact in combat readiness. AFSEC required on-site support for 4 months in Traffic/Motorcycle Safety, Marketing Communications, Outreach and Information Technology.

Burgos Group provided on-site traffic and motorcycle safety specialists to provide innovative techniques and analysis to support the mishap reduction/prevention efforts. Traffic & motorcycle safety support included development, coordination and implementation of strategic traffic/motorcycle safety efforts. These efforts included a diverse set of occupational and traffic safety related programs to build internal and external audience awareness, understanding, and support for key AFSEC strategies and goals. Support included conducting statistic/data analysis reviews, providing technical support to safety planning committees, and developing multimedia safety courses and/or education programs. Support also included providing subject matter expertise on Government-identified safety issues (including Air Force traffic safety issues and occupational safety issues), automobile and motorcycle initiatives, and product reviews.

We also provided a marketing communication specialist who assisted in the implementation and evaluation of strategic communications plans, marketing communications and outreach efforts in direct support of AFSEC Ground Safety objectives. This included a diverse set of safety and related programs to build internal and external audience awareness, understanding, and support for key AFSEC strategies and goals. Innovative approaches to audience communications that enhance overall AFSEC effectiveness were implemented, to include development of fact sheets, articles, videos, web content, pod casts and other outreach items as necessary. Support also included providing input to the Government on communications and marketing issues, opportunities, products, major announcements, significant changes or adverse events.

Our on-site outreach and IT Specialist provided technical support and administration for AFSEC Ground Safety internal/external sites and applications including, but not limited to, SharePoint, Air Force Safety CoP, motorcycle training registration database, websites and social media eco-systems. We provided technical support for the management of the AFSEC social media initiatives, that included development, administration and statistical/trend analysis. These efforts were designed to promote and support safety initiatives and programs conducted by the Air Force with heightened emphasis and validation of private motor vehicle (PMV) or traffic-related mishap reduction.
